Hi, I’m August!

I’ve been taking photos for as long as I can remember. When I graduated high school, I let life get the best of me. I set the camera down for a few years while I searched for who I was and where life was leading me. But I kept coming back to the same truth, the moments I captured were the ones I remembered most deeply.

That’s when I realized photography isn’t just something I enjoy.

It’s how I hold onto meaning, connection, and moments that pass too quickly.

If I hadn’t taken photos throughout my life, so many of my experiences would feel distant now, or possibly forgotten.

Photography lets us return to the feeling, not just the memory. and that’s what I want to give you.
